Rats
Yesterday I was reading a bit of the Dean Koontz book Mezie leant me. Its short stories and the one I was reading was about this woman who comes back to her farm house to find it infested by these scary big-headed genetically engineered lab rats who eventually burn down her house.
Then last night I had woken up when I heard a loud noise, of something falling over. I thought it was one of the bags of paper [soon to be heading for the recycling depot] lying on my floor. Although it was actually my aerobic step which had been leaning up against my drawers. Anyway I couldn't understand how it had just randomly fallen over like that and started imagining I had mice or, worse, rats in my room that had knocked it over and they would be scurrying around my floor.
Didn't get back to sleep for a while!! who needs horror flicks or nightmares when they have my imagination?
