minty fresh
I was taking a massive pile of paper down to the recylcing depot - bags and bags of it - so I decided to pop in the supermarket on the High Street and see if they had any plain low fat yogurt.
I had found this recipe for Frozen Mint Yogurt in the first recipe book I started [so in other words I have had it for years - I cut recipes out of mags etc and stick them in a notebook... but I have about 4 notebooks full now!]. At the time I first had we didn't have any mint in the garden so I couldn't really make it but my mum grew some in a pot this year so I suggested we try making the recipe to use some of the mint since we don't seem to use it for much else.
My mum tried to get plain yogurt in Tesco the other day but was apparently so overwhelmed by the huge choice in the yogurt section [and not actually that sure what plain yogurt IS] that she couldn't get anything.
I'm probably totally wrong in my assumption that plain yogurt is the same thing as Natural yogurt but thats what I got so hopefully we can try and make it possibly this weekend. its a bit too wet today to be out picking mint!
I did also pick up a bar of Scottish fudge [whats Scottish about it I'm not sure] for 19p so I'm laying into that as I type :)
