river walk

Its been such a beautiful day today. I haven't been feeling the best but I did end up going for a walk along the River Ayr to the stepping stones this afternoon. Part of the reason that I liked this layout was because it reminded of walking along there! Itw as pretty quiet and I took my walkman so I could have some music. I'm all music obsessed just now. I grabbed this CD - Red Hot Summer - that I got free from RED magazine a while back and it is really nice and summery. Good mix of old classics [like "I can see clearly now", "Lovely Day" and "Summerbreeze" etc] with some newer stuff. I love the last song by Claire Storey. I was trying to see if I could find any of her other stuff on Kazaa but no luck so far.

Anyway it was a nice walk, even if I did keep wondering if I should have gone that extra 20 miles.. Probably would have been no point though..

Talking of kazaa though, I've been downloading one or two songs today since the parentals are away and i can use my dads computer. I seem to be on a bit of an RnB kick today - maybe its the summer weather, rock type stuff always strikes me as more wintery, dull weather, bad mood music!! Not that I haven't been playing Puddle of Mudd and Nickleback over and over and over in the car ALL summer... But yeah, I've got Beyonces song, downloading Javine just now and was trying to get that one by Lamar...

The whole frozen yogurt thing didn't exactly work out too well so I don't think anyone will be eating it! Ah well. It was an experiment and it didn't work. Not to worry.

Tonight I'm going to try chicken fillets with mozarella and herbs and tomatoes. I did make that once before so I know its not going to turn out a total disaster!! I think I'll just end up having salad with it since its so warm and then maybe some of the Ben and Jerrys Cherry Garcia I got yesterday!! While I watch "Two Weeks Notice" which I rented yesterday along with "Just Married".

I suppose I should really go and get the dinner ready and clear up the kitchen a bit. Its back to work tomorrow and only 4 shifts til my eye candy comes back and the smile will be back on my face [mad laughing blips aside..]
