if its wrong I don't want to be right

Went to the pictures today to see "The Calendar Girls". I hadn't really thought about seeing it until my mum said she wanted to go and I figured I'd take advantage since its a rare occurence for her to go to the cinema and I seem to end up going on my own most times there days cos noone else has any cash, or doesn't like cinemas, or doesn't want to see the same film.

But anyway I had kind of expected that given the subject matter - one of the main character's husbands dies of cancer which prompts them to do a calendar for charity - I had thought it might be a bit depressing but, although it was touching, it also had a lot of really funny moments.

I would definitely recommend it - well to the girls, not really a guy flick unless the idea of seeing Helen Mirrens boobs gets you going that much..

In order to make sure my mum didn't come up with a last minute excuse to bail on me I ended up hoovering and dusting half the house this morning. Something of a kodak moment. My parents tend to do it between them on a Friday since I work and they don't. I USED to do it all when they were both out working and I was at home, I've not always been a spoilt lazy cow!! But now I am so it was quite monumentous!

I even admitted to my mum that I had don't mind cleaning the cooker top cos its really quick and easy with the kitchen cleaner. She uses Cif. Talk about making life hard for yourself...

Why the hell am I talking about cleaning the house? I have no life....

I'm getting anxious about tomorrow and P being back at work. Is it wrong that I'm basically looking forward to getting up at 5am and going to work?!?!
