good day
Today was a good day.
I soooooooo sooooo needed that.
I can't believe though that they are already planning the Christmas nights out. Well not the lab/office one but the CPM are planning theirs and supposedly the Mince are going to Glasgow which seems a bit far. Anyway Anne was mentioned the CPM one to me and asked if I want to go. Its in Kilie and apparently its an ABBA thing. Or a 70's night or something. She said you can wear 70's gear if you want! yeah right!! I said I'd think about it and let her know. I'm actually quite tempted despite saying two years ago that I would never go to another of their Xmas nights out. I think it could be a good laugh and as I said to my dad, I get on with the lassies at the CPM better now than I did then. Well there were some of them that i didn't get on with so much or at least didn't talk to and when they all went off into their little cliquey groups I didn't feel I could sit with any of them if that makes sense. I'm not sure who all would be going but I think from that perspective it would be a lot better now.
I said something to P about it, just that I couldn't believe they were organising it and he was like "are you going?" and I said I didn't know so he was like [jokingly] "oh well I'm not going then.." I didn't think he would be going anyway. But I was talking toP-pal later on and he seemed quite keen and said he was going to wear his dads Bay City Rollers outfit [oh dear!!!]. After that I asked P if he was going and he kind of screwed up his face and I laughed and turned away to watch PJ doing something daft [like always..] and P said "well I'd go if you were going"
I seemed to find most things funny this afternoon. Tucks continued foray into the German language and his insistance that even if you are saying "ich liebe dich" {I love you} you HAVE to bang on the table while speaking german as its a very scary language. PJ totally falling on his arse when Davy pulled away his foot. He slid all the way down the wall cos he was standing on a wet patch. That kept the rest of us laughing for ages and ended up with PJ in a bit of huff. Even Mad S's assertion that he had seen the video footage of me in a lesbian romp and even heard it through the wall?!?!?!?!?!
Apparently us Scots are good at another sport asides from golf and snooker. We are the favourites to win the Elephant Polo Championships!! As the radio DJ who was telling us this commented, where in Scotland can they practice Elephant polo?!
Well I need to go down the street and top up my phone..
