I won a JIGSAW

I can't BELIEVE that I neglected to mention the single most exciting thing that happened yesterday!!

When I went in the canteen at lunchtime I went up to the counter to pay for my bottle of water. I looked at the menu to see what soup it was [in case it was something I might actually want a mug of..] and happened to notice that one of the main meals was "Lasagen Al PORNO". Of course, being I have been working at the factory for so many years, my brain has been corrupted by the dirty minded individuals I'm forced to work with and their CONSTANT double entendres and innuendo. So I found that funny. I commented and the mince monkey in the queue behind me was like "oh get your mind out the gutter Zara!" I just walked away still giggling about the pornographic lasagne when Florrie, the dinner lady, called me back. I thought I had forgotten to get my change but no. I had won a prize. Yep. For being the first person to notice the "deliberate mistake". My prize?

A kit-kat kubes 16 piece JIGSAW!!!!!!!!! I will of course treasure it always.

Honestly though, colour me mortified!! I will never ever point out anything in that canteen again!! I'm keeping stum from now on!

Is that how you spell that word?! I always go to use some kind of slang word and then realise that I only ever use it in speech and have no idea of the correct spelling..

Anyway today was nice, lots of gossiping, a few giggles and some yummy ice cream. Only bad thing was that instead of Mezie banging on about me writing a book, it was me wearing 70's clothes to my christmas night out [why did I mention that I wasn't looking forward to buying something to wear to it?!?!] and more specifically a SKIRT. She knows full well I haven't been in a skirt for nearly 6 years.

I told her that aside from anything else, if I did suddenly decided I wanted to wear a skirt I don't think I could cope with my mums "Oh my gooooodddd!! you're wearing a skirtttttt" and potential for sobbing. Really. I can just see it. I think I'm a huge disappointment to her cos I never wear skirts and its even longer since I wore a dress [1995 to be exact!!!].

Anyway Mezie kept pointing stuff out to me and I'm like "it has to have sleeves, I have horrible shoulders so sleeveless is out".. "no 80's stuff!! bleuch!!" "urgh!! sparkly! NO sequins"

This is why I detest buying stuff for going out. I'm a cute t-shirt [or jumpers/hoodie tops] and jeans kind of girl. I don't DO dressing up and I never like most of the stuff in the shops cos its just not ME. Skimpy sparkly tops & mini skirts?? Hahahahaha!

But I WILL have to get something to wear at some point. Still its not until the middle of December...
