anticipation

I'm all excited now!! In two days time I should have my digital camera!! woohoo!! I just hope it gives half way decent pics on a computer [not bothered about printing them out..]

I'm just having palpitations from having spent over £100 in one go. I don't think I've spent that much at once since I got my APS camera and that must have been about 3 years ago at least!! But I also managed to get 4 Christmas presents with all that so its all good :)

Of course I'll get the usual shopaholic stuff from P when I tell him tomorrow! I mentioned I might be getting one though..

I don't know why work has suddenly gotten SOOOOO cold as I'm sure it can't just be a resultof it being freezing outside. It shouldn't make that much of a difference. But lately I've been freezing my arse off everytime I go near the back chill. My hands go all patchy purple and orange. I must have bad circulation or something as I'm sure its not normal for them to go those colours! But yeah, its been baltic. The worst of it is normally people tend to go to the wee houf [where we change for going to the toilets - not allowed to keep our overalls on in there] for a heat as there is a heater in there and its always lovely and warm. Today there was no heater. There is nowhere in the whole factory you can hide to get a heat :(

At least tomorrow I'm in the packing hall all day so I shouldn't feel it the same. Every cloud has a silver lining I suppose even if I hate doing production line checks and I will hardly get to eye up P.

Today he was saying he'd go to Stockholm with me [as a joke, I'm not even going I don't think] as it just so happens we are on holiday at the same time for once. When he found that out he was like "ha! people will start talking again!". At least it won't be like my last holidays when we were both off for 2½ weeks but they overlapped so I didn't see him for 4 weeks.

Somehow though I was in a really good mood most of today - until the cold got too much and I was super tired. I was giggling away like an idiot half the time. And not an ounce of caffeine passed my lips

Anyway I'm off for a soak in a bubble bath to heat me up some...
